The International Protea Association (IPA), the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the Universidad de Talca, have the pleasure to welcome to all the national and international community of horticulturist, agronomy engineers, growers and academics to take part on the XV International Protea Association Conference and XI International Protea Research Symposium entitled “Proteas: Opportunities and new production regions”, that be held in Santiago, Chile, from 23rd to 26th, April  2012.

This event will be and excellent occasion to network with prestigious national and international researchers, growers, consultants and companies involved in different areas and subjects related to production and commercialization of proteas and ornamental horticulture.

For this Conference and the whole community involved, the participation of the industry is of great relevance. Because of that, the Organizing Committee invite to all the companies related to the agricultural and horticultural production area, to actively participate in this Conference and Symposium. The presence of the industry will contribute significantly to improve the technological quality of this event and also an active mean to support applied research, development, innovation and entrepreneurship, and actively be part of the entire success that this event will be.
